Northstar Exp Amber Purple V-Spec 1 rod

5,63 Tax excl. - 6.76€ Tax incl.

V-Spec #1 is a transparent glass rod with a progressive striking effect, developing honey-yellow tones, ambers, smoky blues, and soft purples. Similar to NS-09 Yellow, it offers stable and predictable behavior while being a more cost-effective alternative thanks to its low silver and germanium content.

SKU: MEXP1-NSCategories: , ,

V-Spec #2 is a light amber yellow glass rod, offering a reaction similar to Northstar Yellow, but with more intense and pronounced smoky tones.

When heated, it develops rich honey-amber hues, then builds deeper caramel layers. Smoky blues also appear, along with subtle violet highlights toward the final stages of transformation. For best results, an oxidizing flame is recommended to burn off initial metal deposits, followed by striking in a reducing flame or kiln.

V-Spec (Variant Specification) formulas are designed with little to no silver or germanium. This provides a more cost-effective option while maintaining smooth melting properties and a reliable, predictable striking behavior.
