Our vision
Become the first French supplier for glassworkers and artists
MVE has been created out of a fact : there is no european supplier able to propose everything a glassworker might need.
Sure, there are many online stores out there, but each of them only propose their own brand, and often require a minimum amount to order that can be annoying for the smaller glassworkers or artists. Most of the largest suppliers are based in the US, which also brings its own constraints (language barrier, custom taxes, long shipping delay, etc.).
With MVE, we have gathered on a single online platform the best brands in the world for your raw material, tools and equipments.
Our expertise also enables us to be more than a marketplace : we test the products to provide you relevant details to help you make your choice, and we are also available to advise you if needed.

MVE is first and foremost a team of passionate glassworkers, working in this field for decades. We put a premium on supporting our community to focus on their creativity by simplifying supplying and logistics.
We work with several brands, but keep a total independance in the choice of the products we propose. We curate the best of what our partners can propose, and keep a total objectivity when it comes to list the strengths and weaknesses of each product.
Our team is available for you from Monday to Friday, 9h to 12h and 13h to 17h, and on Saturday, 9h-12h.
Frequently asked questions
MVE is delivering your parcel against signature. If you have specific shipping needs, you can reach out to arrange it.
We can ship our product everywhere in Europe, and work on a case by case basis when it comes to shipping anywhere else in the world. We are working closely with our shipping partner to ensure delivery is as quick and safe for the good as possible.
You can order directly on our website. We propose a large range of shipping options, and you can pay by card, money transfer or Paypal.
We recommend you to create an account on our website to keep an history of your past orders, and make the future ones easier.

Stéphanie Demoisson
Managing director and Founder
Since 2005, Stéphanie has been running the company Mad Verrerie d’Art with her husband who is a flameworker. She accompanies him to fairs, introduces the public to the glassblowing profession and meets other glass artists.
Fascinated by the glass world, she took several courses in bead making and she is learning digital techniques to create her own stencils for sandblasting on glass.
Stéphanie was one of the first to think about MVE’s concept, and she naturally became its President and Founder in 2020.
Didier Lodomez
Joint manager and Director of Miema
With a background in automation and a passion for technology, Didier set up his own design office at the start of his professional career in 1990. He has always been fascinated by mechanics, and more particularly by electric motor control systems.
It was through a meeting at a fair that the MVE France adventure began. Their shared vision will allow them to finally offer a global platform to showcase Miema’s products and skills, while trying to give a boost to your beautiful craft of glassblowing, which amazes him every time!

With his extensive experience acquired within the family business and at Miema, Romain is guided by his passion for technology and decided to embark on this great adventure with us.
More specifically, he is in charge of the manufacturing and technical management of the various Miema products entrusted to MVE, as well as the development of new products for you.
