Andromeda by Glass Alchemy is a unique color. It combines an intense color shift with brilliant sparkles. It’s a fusion of Triple Passion and Paparazzi. It catches the eye at every stage of transformation.

When cold, Andromeda is a transparent green filled with sparkles. When heated, it shifts to amber, then to deep purple. This change depends on thickness and working time. You can control the shade by adjusting flame type and heat duration.

The sparkles offer a multicolor shine, from green to gold. When worked slowly, a soft silver fume appears on the surface. To remove it, use a sharp, intense flame. This reveals the full brilliance of the sparkles.

Andromeda melts easily. It stays stable even during long sessions. Use a neutral flame to avoid unwanted reactions. It works well alone or layered. When encased in clear glass, its sparkle becomes even more intense.

You can blow it, twist it, stretch it, or compress it. Each method creates a different finish. It’s perfect for sculpture, marbles, or solid tubing.

During annealing at 593°C (1100°F), the color continues to strike. Test short cycles to fine-tune your results.
