The color blows out easily in thin layers, creating a strong green tint over clear, white, or colored glass. Crippy layers beautifully, making it perfect for fades and luminous effects. It blends seamlessly into cool-toned palettes.

For optimal results, use a neutral flame. Avoid working in overly hot propane flames. On extended projects, reduce the kiln temperature to 980–1015 °F (525–550 °C) before final annealing.

Crippy pairs wonderfully with other popular colors like Sno White or Lemon Drop. It mixes well with both opaque and transparent colors.
